The AT&T 146 is a corded trimline landline telephone. It was produced by Advanced American Telephones, manufactured in China and sold under the AT&T Design Line series, and released in December 2000.

Design

The entire telephone is made of plastic. The telephone has a slim profile with curved edges. The base of the telephone has a elongated oval shape. All the buttons are located on the base. The RJ11 port is on the bottom, and the handset cord port is on the bottom left side of the base. The keypad is located on the top of the base in the middle. The buttons are oval and are slightly raised from the surface. Above the keypad is the function keys including mute/program and redial. The handset rests on the base. The hook switch is a simple switch. The handset has a smooth, curved profile. The side of the handset is glossy while the top of it has a matte plastic finish. The entire base has a matte plastic finish.
