The Universal Tel-2975 is a telephone sold by Universal Security Instruments, Inc., released in 1993, which includes a micro-cassette answering machine. It has features such as one touch message playback, tape saver, a call counter, voice activated recording, call screening, memo recording, and a beeperless remote control (more commonly referred to as remote access) with 14 functions. These functions include, but are not limited to, toll saver, call intercept, playback of messages, a room monitor, and remote answerer on/off. When new, the phone included a 15 minute micro-cassette and a 90 day limited warranty.
